High Performance Programme Registration

Registration is available for athletes in those provinces where memberships are available

TO BE ACCEPTED INTO THE CFF HPP:

  1. Register for the HPP program and pay the associated fee.
  2. Have a valid CFF licence for the 2023-24 season.
  3. Purchase an FIE licence if planning on attending any FIE competitions (World Cup, Grand Prix, etc.) – included in the HHP program registration options
  4. Purchase an EFC licence, if planning on attending any EFC events – included in the HPP program registration options
  5. During this registration process, you’ll be asked to provide or complete the following items:
    1. An online signature of the HPP Athlete Agreement for 2023-2024.
    2. Online agreement to the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS).
    3. One recent colour passport-size photos (head and shoulders only). These photos have to be sent every time you apply to the HP Program.
    4. A photocopy of pages 2-3 from your government of Canada Passport. Please make sure that you have a valid passport for the entire season. Some countries require the passport be valid for 3 to 6 months after scheduled departure.
    5. A copy of your yearly training plan signed by your personal coach.
    6. An example of a typical weekly training plan.
    7. Successful completion of Safe Sport training.
    8. It is your responsibility to make sure you abide by the FIE and CCES anti-doping rules. Please read the Athlete’s Guide to Doping Control published by the CCES and complete the e-learning course True Sport Clean .

Registration fees for 2023-2024

REGULAR REGISTRATION: $500.00 if paid on or before October 12, 2023

LATE REGISTRATION: $650.00 if paid on or after October 13, 2023.

NOTE: For athletes who register for the HPP following the October 12, 2023 deadline, only those results from competitions that occur following completion of the HPP registration and payment of the HPP fee will be included in the CFF HPP Rankings (eg. An athlete that registers and pays the $650 fee on January 1, 2024 will only be able to count results from competitions that take place starting January 1, 2024.)
