"We are extremely pleased to be able to host this important event in Laval," stated Gabriela Mayer, President of the Montmorency Fencing Club and Chair of the Canadian Fencing Federation's Wheelchair Fencing Committee. "It is important for Canada's top athletes to be able to showcase their sport at home and hopefully inspire others to take up wheelchair fencing."
