Canada’s Top Fencers to Compete at the 2019 Senior World Championships in Budapest

Canada’s top fencers will be competing at the 2019 Senior World Fencing Championships in Budapest, Hungary from July 15-23, 2019.  The 2019 World Championships are an important part of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Qualification process for fencing.  Canada recently hosted the Senior Pan American Fencing Championships in Toronto, an Olympic zone qualification event, and came away with a total of 10 medals.

Canada’s team in Budapest will consist of 27 of its top fencers from across Canada who have qualified and been selected to represent Canada at the 2019 Senior World Championships in Individual and/or team events:
