The CFF is pleased to announce that Michael Ivankovic from Kitchener, Ontario and David Webster from Calgary, Alberta have successfully completed their requirements to be named FIE (international) fencing referees.

Both candidates travelled to San Jose, Costa Rica from August 14-16, 2013 to participate in an FIE International Refereeing course and exam.  Webster was successful in receiving a P designation in Foil, while Ivankovic was successful in achieving a B designation in all three weapons (foil, saber and epee.)

Fencing Canada congratulates both gentlemen on their success and are pleased to add two new International Referees to add to its outstanding core group of referees in Canada.
