sanctioned tournaments will now be conducted using the four-meter on-guard lines effective immediately.

The FIE will return to using the four-metre on guard lines at senior events beginning at the Warsaw Men’s Saber World Cup being held from Feb. 25-27.

All of the Junior and Cadet Zonal Championships for the remainder of the 2016-17 season as well as the 2017 Junior and Cadet World Championships will be conducted using the three-metre lines. The FIE will begin using the four-meter lines for all junior and cadet events beginning with the 2017-18 season.

All Saber events included in the CFF National Championships scheduled for April 21-23, 2017 will use the four-metre on guard lines.
