Canadian Fencing Federation Signs on to Abuse-Free Sport March 31, 2023
The Canadian Fencing Federation is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement to join Abuse-Free Sport, the new independent program to prevent and address maltreatment in sport. Effective Friday, March 31, 2023, the Canadian Fencing Federation (CFF) has access to services provided by the Office of the Sport Integrity Commissioner (OSIC). OSIC serves as the central hub and operates independently to administer complaints about alleged violations of the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport (UCCMS). Complaints will now be filed with either Abuse-Free Sport or the Independent Third Party (The ITP) for the CFF.
