Canada added gold and bronze to its medal tally Friday at the Pan American Junior/Cadet Championships in Puerto Rico.

Canadians reached the podium in the following events:

Men’s Junior Epee – Marc-Antoine Blais-Belanger: Gold Medal
Women’s Cadet Foil – Elizabeth Hurtubise: Bronze Medal

After three days of competition, Canada leads the country medal count with 12 medals – 3 gold, 3 Silver and 6 Bronze.

Saturday is the last day of individual competition before the team events start with Women’s Junior Epee, Men’s Junior Foil and Women’s Cadet Sabre in action.
