Job Opportunity Provincial Fencing Coach – New Brunswick
Fencing-Escrime NB is seeking an energetic, qualified fencing coach with a strong interest in and capability to develop annual and long term training and competition programs that result in a succession of NB fencers achieving success in national level competitions. The provincial coach is expected to work collaboratively with club coaches to improve the training and competition environment for all fencers in New Brunswick. The provincial coach must provide direct instruction on a daily basis at the provincial training centre for identified provincial fencers at the Train to Train and Train to Compete stages of development. This is a full-time permanent position.
Primary Location: Fredericton
This position reports to: Executive Director of FENB.

> Preparation of written yearly training & competition plans

> Trip Management
> Refereeing Support
Qualifications
> NCCP certified Level 3 in Foil & Sabre or equivalent
> NCCP certified Level 3 in Foil & Sabre or equivalent
> Minimum of 3 years of full season, weekly coaching of fencers at Learn to Train and higher stages
> Bilingual (English / French)
> valid Canadian drivers licence
> Computer skills for communication via e-mail and preparation of training plans and reports
> valid passport
> Successful applicant will be asked to complete a criminal record check.
Salary Range: $40,000 – $45,000 (commensurate with experience)
