Rio bound Joseph Polossifakis added some hardware to his season on Saturday winning gold at the London FIE Satellite event.

In the men’s sabre at the Cole Cup in England’s capital, Polossifakis took gold beating British fencer James Honeybone in the final. Two other Brits, William Deary and Jonathan Webb – the latter Polossifakis defeated in the semi-finals – split the bronze medals.

Polossifakis will next compete in an FIE World Cup in Madrid, Spain on May 13^th as part of his preparation for Rio.
