The Canadian Fencing Federation veteran's committee would like to invite expressions of interest in attending the 2014 Commonwealth Veteran's Championships being held November 16-19th, 2014 in Largs Scotland.

There is no limit to the number of competitors that may be submitted, however they must be submitted by the Canadian Fencing Federation.

Prior to attendance, participants will be required to submit a medical certificate clearing them for competition.

The age group classification for the Championship for both men & women is: 40+, 50+, 60+ and 70+ and ALL weapon groups will be contested for both men & women events.

Individual events are open to all fencers who qualify under current Commonwealth Fencing Federation (CFF) rules and are over 40 on the first day of the event.  NB: This applies equally to the other age-groups: 50+, 60+, 70+.

All expressions of interest must be received no later than May 14th, 2014. Expressions of interest can be sent to Gaby Weis <veteranfencer@bellnet.ca> and cc'd to pa@fencing.ca.
