Several of Canada’s top veteran fencers made the trip to Richmond, Virginia to take part in the Div. 1/Wheelchair Nationals and April North American Cup (NAC) this past weekend.

Evgeny Bozhenko (TFC, ON) took the top spot of the Canadians, winning a bronze medal in the Veteran Men’s Foil category. Canadian fencers had five additional top 10 finishes as follows:

Gaby Weisz (BFC, ON) – 5^th, Veteran 70+ Men’s Foil

Lisa Huzel (CFA, ON) – 8^th, Veteran 50+ Women’s Epee

Michael McDonnell (NEW, ON) – 8^th, Veteran 60+ Men’s Epee

Evgeny Bozhenko (TFC, ON) – 8^th, Veteran 50+ Men’s Foil

Kyle Foster (CFA, ON) – 10^th, Veteran 40+ Men’s Epee
