The FIE’s Executive Committee has recently released its list of officials and referees for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The CFF is proud to announce that Canadian International referee Alexey Kuznetsov has been selected as a referee for foil.

Stated CFF President Brad Goldie, “Mr. Kuznetsov has long been recognized as a top foil referee in the world. The Canadian Fencing Federation is proud to see his talent recognized through his appointment as a referee for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.”

“I am extremely happy to have been selected to referee at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio,” responded Alexey Kuznetsov.  “I look forward to representing Canada at this prestigious sporting event.”
