We just heard the sad news of the death of Maître Stéphane Bolle occurred last week at the age of 46 years.

Stéphane Bolle discovered fencing under Maître Quivrin at Tourcoing fencing club. Stéphane trained with him at all levels to be a member of the France team junior saber. He also reached the final table of the World Junior Championships in Stuttgart in 1986.

He joined the National Training Center at INSEP under the leadership of Mr. Laszlo Szepesi and was a member of the great team Racing Club de France where he won the title of Champion of France and the European Cup of Champions Clubs in Budapest.

Fearless promotion from 1991 to INSEP in Paris, he immigrated to Quebec and taught for six years at the club Fencing Club and Montmorency, few years Jean De Brebeuf College before becoming Technical Director of the Fencing Federation Quebec from 1997 to 2002.
